My name is Yolanda, and I understand the importance of finding the perfect caregiver for your family. It's so important to me that you know your child is in a safe place and in good hands while you're at work!
With over 35 years of personal experience raising my own two amazing children, I know the joys and challenges that come with parenting. In addition to that, I have spent over 30 years honing my professional skills in the field of Childcare. I started by operating a licensed childcare home in North Austin for four years before moving to East Austin.
In East Austin, I took the next step and opened a childcare facility of my own. This facility was licensed to accommodate up to 40 children, and I took great pride in owning and directing it. Throughout my journey, I have obtained my Child Development Associate certification and regularly attend regional conferences and local training sessions to stay up to date with the latest practices.
My goal is to create a nurturing environment that feels like a home away from home for children ranging from those who are independently walking to pre-k. Through my childcare program, I focus on fostering creativity, independence, confidence, and social, emotional, and physical development. Our curriculum is designed to stimulate thinking skills, sensory development, small and large muscle development, and language skills. And all of this is achieved through the power of play.
Rest assured, I have obtained the necessary license to operate my facility, by meeting, and going above and beyond the Texas Minimum Standard Rules. This ensures that your children have a safe, spacious, and comfortable place to thrive. To maintain the highest standards, my facility is regularly inspected by The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing.
In addition to my childcare responsibilities, I am currently serving as a business consultant for other registered and licensed in-home childcare providers across Texas. It's so important to me to help create quality care throughout Texas and provide the best care possible for your little ones.
