Our Program

At Heaven Sent, nurturing young minds is our passion. With over 35 years of experience, our faith-based in-home childcare in Austin, Texas, provides a warm, secure environment that supports your child's emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

Our program emphasizes universal Christian principles such as gratitude, honesty, kindness, and prayer, woven naturally into each day to help children build strong moral foundations and a sense of community. Around 80% of our daily schedule is dedicated to meaningful, imaginative play that encourages creativity, social growth, and problem-solving skills. The rest of our time includes gentle, teacher-guided activities like morning meetings, reading and comprehension, creative art, and music.

While our environment remains warm, playful, and nurturing, we also take care to prepare children for the structure of kindergarten and beyond. This includes gently introducing routines, setting clear expectations, encouraging respectful boundaries, and fostering independence in everyday tasks—all in a supportive, age-appropriate way.

A Personalized Childcare Experience

At Heaven Sent, we believe a strong childcare partnership begins with shared values, mutual respect, and a nurturing fit for each child. Because we offer an intimate, high-quality program with individualized attention, only four spaces are available for new families.

Enrollment is not first-come, first-served—instead, we schedule tours and family interviews to ensure a mutual fit.

We’re not for everyone, and we’re okay with that. But if you're looking for a calm, faith-based, all-girl preschool that prioritizes manners, values, and readiness for kindergarten, we may be just what you’ve been praying for.

Program Schedule

  • 8:00am- Welcome & breakfast

  • 8:30- Morning meeting & Play!

  •  10:05 - Creative Art/Music (Indoor or Outdoor)

  • 10:30 - Outdoor Play (Weather Permitting)

  • 11:30 - Wash Hands & Enjoy Lunch

  • 12:00 - Relax & Nap Time Stories

  • 3:00 - Wash hands & Snack

  • 3:30 - Outdoor Play (Weather Permitting)

  • 4:30 - Handwash, Story Time and or Academic Screen Time

  • 5:00 - Give Hugs and See You Soon!

Morning Meeting

We start our morning meeting with the pledge of allegiance, followed by going over our shapes, letters and numbers! We go over our calendar, and how we are all feeling that day. It’s a great way for us all to connect first thing in the morning!

Little Habits, Big Impact

We focus on important life skills every day, like pushing in chairs, washing hands, cleaning up, using manners, and learning to blow noses, cover sneezes, and coughs. For children who are ready, we also support age-appropriate potty training. These simple habits, lovingly reinforced, help children gain independence and confidence as they prepare for school and life beyond. As Miss Yolanda always says, “Please and thank you go a long way!”
